Elliot Gin has a diverse work experience in the field of semiconductor design and verification. Starting in 2005, Elliot began their career as a Design Engineer at Intel, where they worked on modifying Verilog designs, performing functional analysis, debugging high-frequency ASIC designs, and generating test vectors. They also had an internship within Intel's Flash Products Group during this time. Elliot later joined Teradici in 2005, where they held multiple roles, including Design Engineer for FPGA Emulation and Staff Engineer for Silicon Design and Product Validation. In these roles, Elliot prototyped ASIC designs on Xilinx Virtex FPGAs, scripted the design flow, managed PCB layout, and designed complex circuit architectures. Elliot's most recent role is as a RISC-V CPU Design Verification Engineer at Andes Technology Corporation, starting in 2022.
Elliot Gin attended The University of British Columbia from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASC) degree in Electrical Engineering.
