Thomas Ledger is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the field of bioengineering and sustainable agriculture. Currently serving as the Director of the Master’s program in Engineering Sciences with a specialization in Bioengineering and the undergraduate Bioengineering program at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez since March 2018, Thomas Ledger also holds the position of Associate Professor. As a co-founder of Andes Ag, Thomas Ledger focuses on sustainable agricultural technologies that enhance crop yield and resilience through the use of beneficial microorganisms. Thomas Ledger's academic career includes previous roles as an Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Researcher at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, as well as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Thomas Ledger earned a Doctorate in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology, along with a degree in Biochemistry and a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Universidad de Chile.
