Amanda Brinkman has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Amanda is currently working at ANDMORE as the Executive Director of Content & Community since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Content & Community at ANDMORE from July 2022 to January 2023. In 2022, Amanda worked for Hello Seven as the Marketing Director, where they focused on entrepreneurship and business consulting for historically excluded individuals. At Hello Seven, they developed a recurring revenue model and planned the growth of the marketing department. Before that, they worked at FSC Interactive as the Creative Director from November 2019 to January 2022, leading a creative team and collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team on strategic planning and staff development. From 2016 to 2020, Amanda served as the Chief Creative Officer at Shrill Society, overseeing social impact initiatives and creative production projects. Amanda also has experience as a freelance consultant, collaborating with various clients and partners on digital, social, and experiential projects. Additionally, Amanda worked at Pelican Bomb as the Deputy Director from 2011 to 2017, contributing to strategic visioning and implementation in the areas of development, curatorial, and community partnerships. Amanda also managed the House of Blue's art and music charitable foundation in San Diego from 2006 to 2008 as the Acting Director. Amanda began their career as a Curatorial Intern at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego in 2005.
Amanda Brinkman started their education journey at UC San Diego, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History, Theory, and Criticism from 2003 to 2007. Afterward, they went on to attend the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Visual and Critical Studies, studying from 2008 to 2010.
