Simon Pineau

Simon Pineau is the Chef du bureau de l'énergie, des participations, de l'industrie et de l'innovation at the Direction du Budget, a role they have held since 2024. They also serve as an administrator and representative of the State at Bpifrance and Andra. Previously, Simon gained experience as a financial attaché at the French Embassy in Rabat and in various analytical roles at BNP Paribas and Allianz France. Simon has taught public finance at Sciences Po and holds multiple degrees, including a Master in Public Policy from Sciences Po and a Grande Ecole degree from ESSEC Business School.
