Thierry Lassabatere

Thierry Lassabatere currently serves as the Directeur opérationnel for the Cigéo Tranche 1 project at Andra, having previously held the position of Préfigurateur. Prior experience includes roles at EDF, such as Chargé de mission for technical cooperation with Andra on Cigéo and Délégué Déchets, where significant focus was on nuclear waste management. In prior positions at Andra, Thierry contributed as Directeur technique adjoint and architecte ensemblier for the Cigéo project. With a solid foundation in engineering and research, including a postdoctoral focus on chemo-mechanical behavior of concrete, Thierry's educational background encompasses a doctorate in Mechanics and Materials from École nationale des ponts et chaussées and extensive studies at Université Paris-Sorbonne in medieval studies.
