Yannick Linard

Ingénieur Scientifique (géochimiste) at Andra

Yannick Linard is a highly experienced scientific engineer specializing in geochemistry, currently working at Andra since April 2007, where responsibilities include the design, implementation, and monitoring of experiments in underground galleries. Yannick has conducted studies on the interactions between various materials involved in the deep geological storage of radioactive waste. Prior to this role, Yannick held positions at CEA, focusing on laboratory studies for a new vitrification process, and at IFP, where there was involvement in the development of instrumental and methodological techniques for pyrolysis of rocks. Additionally, Yannick served as a teacher-researcher at IPGP/Université Paris VII and as a research assistant at the University of California at Davis, contributing to studies on thermochemical properties of transition metal oxides. Yannick holds a Doctorate in silicate materials and thermochemistry from Université Paris VII, obtained between 1990 and 2000.
