Eric Alby currently serves as a Partner at Andreessen Horowitz in the a16z Perennial division and as a member of both the Investment Committee and National Committee at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC. Prior to these roles, Eric was the Managing Director and US Head of Structuring for Quantitative Investment Strategies at Macquarie Group from 2019 to 2023 and held various leadership positions at Morgan Stanley from 2002 to 2019, including Managing Director in Equity Derivatives Structuring. Earlier in Eric's career, experience included working as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company from 1999 to 2001. Eric Alby holds a Master of Science in Engineering Economic Systems and Operations Research from Stanford University and a Diplome d'Ingenieur in Physics and Economics from École Polytechnique.
