Eric Silverman

Eric Silverman currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Shopify, starting in April 2025, while also working as a Scout and Angel Investor at Andreessen Horowitz since June 2022, focusing on early-stage startups in web technology and SaaS. Previously, Eric held various engineering leadership positions, including Director of Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager at Netlify from February 2021 to February 2025, and Founder and CEO of FeaturePeek prior to its acquisition by Netlify. Eric's experience also includes serving as Vice President of Engineering at Inflect Inc., where the role involved building a data-driven platform and collaborating on product strategy. Earlier career highlights include multiple managerial roles at Apple, overseeing software localization projects and iOS build engineering, as well as beginning as an OS X Build Engineer intern. Eric holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University, earned in 2010.
