Jay Rughani

Jay Rughani is an experienced investment partner specializing in health and biotechnology at Andreessen Horowitz since June 2018, focusing on AI and data companies in healthcare delivery and life sciences. Rughani's investment portfolio includes notable companies such as Komodo Health and Thyme Care. Prior to this role, Rughani played a pivotal role at Flatiron Health, where multi-year partnerships leveraging oncology data were established before the company’s acquisition by Roche Group. With a foundation in strategy and operations consulting at Monitor Deloitte and early entrepreneurial experience as co-founder of a nutritional sports drink company, Rughani holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Emory University.
