Michael Lee

Michael Lee is an assistant controller on the Finance team.

Prior to joining a16z, Michael worked at KPMG where he served as a senior manager providing audit services to asset management companies. During his time at KPMG, Michael specialized in venture capital and private equity funds, gaining experience in financial reporting and analysis as well as regulatory compliance.

Michael earned a BS in business administration from San Francisco State University and is a licensed certified public accountant. In his free time, Michael enjoys traveling, playing golf, and rooting for his favorite sports teams (49ers, Warriors, and Manchester United).
