Tim Sullivan

Tim Sullivan is an experienced editor and publishing executive with a strong background in both academic and trade publishing. Currently, Tim serves as the Editor for crypto at Andreessen Horowitz since May 2022. Prior to this role, Tim was the Executive Director at The University of California Press from February 2018 to April 2022, leading an influential academic publisher. Tim's earlier experience includes serving as Editorial Director at Harvard Business Review for nearly eight years, where Tim oversaw editorial quality and financial outcomes for HBR Press. Additional roles at Basic Books and Penguin Group USA contributed to expertise in serious nonfiction publishing. Tim holds a BA in History from the University of Vermont, an MA in History from the same institution, and has completed PhD coursework in World History. Tim also attended Harvard Business School to study Strategy for Media Executives in 2012.
