Daniel Caplan, MS, EIT has a diverse work experience. Daniel began their career in 2000 as an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. In 2008, they started working as a server at Outback Steakhouse. In 2009, they became a photographer with Provine School Pictures, LLC. From 2012 to 2014, they were an IT Consultant and Lab Support Staff for the OSU College of Engineering. During this time, they were also a Mechanical Engineering Intern and Mechanical Assembly Technician at ATS Automation. In 2015, they became an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Team Lead, Combustor Design Project at Oregon State University. In 2016, they were a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Volta Volare Corp. and a Graduate Research Assistant and Safety Supervisor at Oregon State University. In 2017, they were a Research Engineer Intern at SPECTRAL ENERGIES, LLC. Finally, in 2018, they began their current role as a Staff Mechanical Engineer at Andrews-Cooper.
Daniel Caplan earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University in 2016, followed by a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University in 2020. Daniel is also an Engineer in Training (EIT).
