Vikram D E possesses a comprehensive background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and software engineering, with experience spanning over a decade. Initial internships included work at Karnataka State Remote Sensing Applications Centre and Jana Urban Space Foundation, where Vikram focused on geospatial data creation and GIS development. Subsequent positions include a GIS Intern role at Teems India Towerlines and a Master Thesis Student position at DLR, culminating in a thesis on MODIS active fire hotspots. As a GIS Programmer at CIVIX L.L.C, Vikram developed applications for fleet management and real-time routing and moved to Rubicon as a Geographic Information Systems Engineer, leading cloud migration and product integration projects. Currently, Vikram serves as a Senior Software Engineer at Routeware, Inc. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Cartography from Technical University Munich and a Bachelor's Degree in Geoinformatics Engineering from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies.
