Markus Schmidt

Markus Schmidt currently serves as Vice President of Global Order Execution and Operations at ANDRITZ since September 2022. Prior to this role, Markus held various positions at Zeppelin Systems GmbH from May 2005 to August 2022, including Vice President of Order Management Projects and Leiter of Process Design, where responsibilities encompassed project management, engineering, and optimizing interfaces between sales and execution. Markus also led the implementation of the COMOS CAE tool across multiple national locations and managed numerous polyolefine plant projects, demonstrating expertise in international project leadership and technical coordination. Markus holds a Diplom-Ingenieur in Maschinenbau - Produktion und Management from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University and completed an Abitur at Montfort Gymnasium Tettnang.
