Otto Max Schaefer

Otto Max Schaefer currently serves as the Head of Pump Division at ANDRITZ since September 2021. Previously, Otto held the position of CEO at Zitec Gruppe from July 2014 to December 2017 and was a Member of the Board at International Parts Holding (IPH) Paris during the same timeframe. Prior to these roles, Otto operated as an independent entrepreneur from January 2013 to June 2014 and was the Sprecher der Geschäftsführung at Erich Netzsch GmbH & Co. Holding KG between January 2004 and December 2012. Otto began a career at The Boston Consulting Group, where Otto Max worked as a Manager from September 1997 to December 2003. Educationally, Otto Max Schaefer earned a Diplomingenieur in Electrical Engineering from Technical University of Munich (1989 - 1994), a Doktor der Wirtschaftswissenschaften from Helmut-Schmidt-Universität/Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg (1997 - 2001), and completed a Diplomarbeit in Electrical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (1993 - 1994).
