Patrick Leuk is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in automation, digitalization, and process optimization within the pulp and paper industry. Currently serving as Global Product Manager Automation and Digitalization at ANDRITZ since January 2018, Patrick leads the development and implementation of digital solutions under the Metris brand and oversees the Data Science Team. Previously, at Tieto, Patrick held the role of Team Lead for the Process, Technology, and Data Analytics Team focused on optimizing value chains in the industry. Patrick's background includes project management and energy efficiency optimization in various paper mills at the Institute for Paper, Pulp, and Fiber Technology, as well as research in papermachine coating at Sappi Europe. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Chemical Engineering and an MBA in Digital Transformation.
