Yu Sun is currently the Technology Manager for Mechanical Pulping at ANDRITZ, a position held since 2021. Prior to this role, Yu served as the Manager of TMP & Stock Preparation at Paper Excellence from 2018 to 2021, and worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of British Columbia's Pulp and Paper Centre from 2014 to 2017. Yu earned a Ph.D. in Pulp and Paper Engineering and Chemistry from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, where they also worked as a Research Assistant. Yu holds both a Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering Technology from the Institute of Chemical Industry of Forest Products and another Master of Engineering in Biotechnology from Aix-Marseille University. Yu completed a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science at Beijing Forestry University.
