Edgar Cervantes

Edgar Cervantes started their work experience in 2010 as the National Android Examiner at Examiner.com, where they wrote, edited, and covered content related to the Android platform. In 2011, they joined Android and Me as a Blogger and gained experience in writing, photography, and social media. Edgar then worked at AndroidGuys as a Blogger, where they had creative freedom and covered daily news. In 2012, they became the Editor/Administrator at Phandroid, the first Android-focused website, where they managed multiple back-end systems and covered various responsibilities. Later in 2014, they worked as a Writer/Photographer at Android Authority, the largest site they had worked at, where they found a passionate tech journalism community. Edgar also worked as the US Editor/Photographer at MobileGeeks.com, managing all US content operations and shooting photos and videos. In 2015, Edgar became the Head of Imaging and Photography at Android Authority, creating content up to their standards. Lastly, in 2018, they founded 5th Reflection Product Photography, a company that produces high-quality commercial imagery.

Edgar Cervantes earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Medieval and Modern Studies from the University of California, Davis, from 2005 to 2010. Prior to that, they received their High School Diploma in General Education from Sweetwater Union High School, where they studied from 2001 to 2005.
