Tom O'Brien

Tom O'Brien is an experienced executive with a notable background in biotechnology and corporate development. Currently serving as the Executive Chairman of Andson Biotech since October 2023, O'Brien leads efforts to enhance mass spectrometry for biomolecular analysis. As the Chairman of BioCircuit Technologies since April 2019, O'Brien focuses on nerve repair technologies for clinical applications, particularly in breast reconstruction. O'Brien co-founded Axion BioSystems, where contributions as a Board Member continue since May 2008, assisting in the development of essential life science tools. Prior roles include Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at Intermagnetics General, President of the Colors Group at Sensient Technologies, and Vice President at Sun Chemical. O'Brien's educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
