Elbert Foo

Elbert Foo is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in guidance, navigation, and controls, currently serving as a Guidance, Navigation and Controls Engineer at Anduril Industries since April 2022. Previously, Foo held the position of Staff Engineer at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, focusing on gimbals and controls after the acquisition of IJK Controls, where responsibilities included system architecture, design review, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Earlier experience includes serving as a Controls Engineer at IJK Controls, where development of software-in-the-loop simulations and real-time embedded software took place, alongside field testing and customer interaction. Additional internships at Micro-Leads, Inc., Boston University Nanoscale Energy-Fluids Transport Laboratory, and Breegi Scientific, Inc. contributed to a diverse skill set in mechanical engineering and design.
