Michael Auda

Michael Auda is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in robotics and mechanical systems, currently employed at Anduril Industries since August 2021. Previously, Michael worked at Gecko Robotics, Inc. from January 2019 to July 2021, where responsibilities included developing lightweight robotic drivetrain systems for industrial inspection. Michael also held various leadership roles, such as Suspension Team Manager and VP of Structures at Carnegie Mellon Racing, leading teams in the design and racing of electric formula-style vehicles, and achieved significant accolades in competitions. Additional experience includes mechanical engineering internships at Hyliion and SpaceX, along with teaching roles at Carnegie Mellon University and robotics instruction for young students. Michael holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, where a double major in Robotics was also achieved.
