Alex Sheets is an expert in environmental markets with extensive experience in sales and operations roles, particularly in carbon brokering and renewable energy credit (REC) sales across North America and Europe. Currently, Alex serves as the Sr. Director of RECs at Anew. Previously, Alex held positions such as Broker at Trident Brokerage Services LLC and Vice-President of Environmental Markets at SRECTrade. Alex began their career in education as a teacher at Burr & Burton Academy and holds a BA in Economics and French from Washington University in St. Louis, as well as an MA in International Trade & Investment Policy from The George Washington University.
