Derek O'Connell

Derek O'Connell has a diverse work experience that spans over 25 years. Derek began their professional journey with Panamax in 1996 as a Marketing & Sales professional, where they worked until 1999. Derek then joined OEI as an Owner/Operator, a role they held until 2003, when they transitioned to Mortgage Banking as a Loan Officer. Derek spent 14 years in the industry before changing careers again. In 2017, they became an Independent Sales Representative for First Tactical, selling gear to public safety professionals. Derek left the position in 2018 to become a Regional Sales Manager for Angel Armor, a role they held until 2020. From 2020 until 2022, they worked as a Territory Sales Manager | LE for Greystone Tactical. In 2022, they joined Fechheimer as a Sales Representative they quit later that year to become the Regional Sales Manager - PNW for Angel Armor.

Derek O'Connell received their education in the field of international studies and relations. From 1987 to 1990, they attended California State University, Chico, where they studied international relations but did not complete a degree. Later, from 1993 to 1995, they enrolled in Dominican University of California and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in international studies.
