Chris Empson

Chris Empson is a seasoned professional in machine learning and software engineering with extensive experience in the healthcare and academic sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Operations Engineer at Angiogenesis Analytics, Chris previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Kheiron Medical, where co-designing and implementing systems for monitoring ML models' telemetry was a key responsibility. Prior to that, Chris worked as a Senior Consultant at Infinity Works, leading a technical team in developing a serverless data submission service for NHS Digital. Chris's career also includes a role as a Robotic Screening and Instrumentation Specialist at the University of Leeds, where bespoke software and scientific instruments were developed, and early academic pursuits during a PhD in Computational Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Hull.
