Wan-Ru Lin

Wan-Ru Lin has extensive work experience in the fields of art, photography, and graphic design. Wan-Ru founded their own art studio, RuRu Bomb Limited, in 2019, where they create personal artwork and builds up their art career through various platforms. Wan-Ru participates in virtual and physical exhibitions, publishes artwork online and in physical platforms, and gives courses on an online art education platform. Wan-Ru Lin is also a freelance photographer, specializing in portraits and photo shoots for travelers, couples, and families.

In addition to their own studio, Wan-Ru Lin has worked as an online art teacher for Skillshare since 2020, sharing their skills and knowledge with students. Prior to this, they worked as a travel photographer for Shoot My Travel, providing photo shoots for tourists, couples, and families.

Before focusing on their art career, Wan-Ru Lin worked as a freelance graphic designer, photographer, and artist for K' Multimedia Art from 2010 to 2019. Wan-Ru provided freelance services to corporate individuals and partnered with agencies to provide graphic design and photography. Wan-Ru ensured the best print and graphics outcomes for each project and provided technical expertise to clients.

Wan-Ru Lin also has experience as a freelance graphic designer for various companies, including Emc2 Taiwan Agriculture & Forestry Bureau, Hsin-Hsin Metal.ltd, and Hong-Ye-Da Technology Ltd. Wan-Ru worked on branding, logo design, stationary design, and presentation design for these companies.

Furthermore, Wan-Ru Lin has worked as a gallery event assistant for Urdct Culture and Creative Co., Ltd, helping to organize cultural talks, conferences, and exhibitions. Wan-Ru has also had part-time, summer internship, and junior design assistant roles at Chang Gung University Lab: The D/sign Lounge, where they focused on design, education, research, and creativity.

Wan-Ru Lin completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Media Visual Communication Design (MVC) from Chang Gung University, studying from 2008 to 2013. Wan-Ru then pursued their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Photography- The Image and Electronic Arts from Goldsmiths, University of London, from 2015 to 2016. Following this, they continued their studies at Goldsmiths and obtained a Master of Research (MRes) degree in Filmmaking, Photography, and Electronic Arts in 2017.
