Kris Johnson is the Chief Product Officer at Anglepoint, with over 13 years of experience designing and implementing sustainable IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), hardware management, and software license compliance programs.

As a SAM/ITAM practitioner, Kris has helped numerous large, complex organizations save and avoid hundreds of millions of dollars in software costs thru proactively managing their software estate by implementing the people, policies, processes, and tools necessary to operate sustainable solutions for IT asset management.

Kris is sought out specifically for his detailed knowledge and experience with contract analysis & optimization, software audit defense / response & negotiation, optimizing software procurement, deployment, monitoring, and reconciliation processes, conducting SAM tool requirements analyses, performing unbiased SAM tool selection through RFP development and evaluation, configuring and tuning various SAM tools for more accurate and useful discovery and reporting, as well as his software licensing, deployment discovery, and deployment-entitlement reconciliation expertise. Kris also regularly assists end-user organizations with developing and optimizing their software and hardware contract renewal and true- up strategies, including providing negotiation support. He has also taught several software licensing workshops to numerous end-user organizations.
