Our legacy

For over 30 years, Anglicare Central Queensland has worked with people of all backgrounds, beliefs and walks of life to make the best of their lives. As an organisation with truly local roots, AnglicareCQ is dedicated to leading the way in the community services sector as we pride ourselves on empowering and supporting our participants, upholding human rights and advocating for the removal of unjust structures. 

Our communities

AnglicareCQ works across the geographical boundaries of the Rockhampton Anglican Diocese. We serve communities in and around Rockhampton, Gladstone, Biloela, Moura, Blackwater, Emerald, Barcaldine, Longreach and Winton. Our Board, staff and volunteers live in the communities they serve, in regional and remote locations.

We believe that through respect, integrity, hope, compassion, innovation and purpose, we can work with our participants to overcome many of life’s challenges which can affect our mental and physical well-being, financial position, relationships and family life. Quality assurance and continuous improvement

Our organisation is committed to continuous improvement. AnglicareCQ listens and responds to the voice of our participants in developing and reviewing our strategies and practices to improve services on an ongoing basis. We are committed to the creation of platforms where our service users can voice their needs and aspirations, influencing service design and governance in favour of the participant. Ongoing quality assurance and impact assessment keeps AnglicareCQ at the forefront of service innovations, whilst complying with sector-wide governance frameworks and licensing requirements:

Partnerships

AnglicareCQ offers services tailored to meet local needs in our communities from the Capricorn Coast inland to Winton. We collaborate with government and like minded organisations to deliver the best possible outcomes for our participants.
