Wayne Brown

Wayne Brown has extensive experience in the mining and electrical sectors, beginning as an electrician at North Goonyella from March 1996 to January 2001. Following this, Wayne served as an electrician at Moranbah North Coal and then transitioned to various roles at Bes Mining, including relief shift engineer and longwall electrical coordinator between January 2003 and January 2004. Wayne continued to work as a longwall electrical coordinator at Newlands Northern Underground from January 2004 to January 2012 and at Moranbah North Mine (Mechlec Industries) from January 2012 to June 2014. Since October 2013, Wayne has been involved with electrical longwall overhauls at Anglo American. Wayne completed education at Moranbah High School.
