Peter Dewhurst

Peter Dewhurst is an experienced quality management professional with a strong background in quality systems and process improvement. Currently serving as Quality Manager at Angus Fire Limited since September 2025, Peter previously held the position of Senior Quality & Gas Barrier Manager at Avient Corporation, where responsibilities included managing quality systems such as ISO 9000 and employing quality tools to enhance business processes. Prior to that, Peter spent over two decades at ColorMatrix Group, progressing from Quality Manager EMEA to Operations Manager - Gas Barrier, overseeing supply chain management and the implementation of lean methodologies across global manufacturing locations. Peter holds an MBA and a BSc in Applied Chemistry from the University of Lancashire.
