Thong Nguyen

Thong Nguyen has worked in various roles since 2005. Thong began their career as a Signal Support System Specialist for the United States Army Reserve. In 2013, they worked as a Tech Support Specialist for Saint Benedict Consortium, followed by a role as a Support Engineer at WMS Gaming. From 2014 to 2021, Nguyen held the position of Technical Project Manager at Scientific Games. Currently, they are employed as an Information Technology Asset Management at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and is also a Technical Project Manager at Anicca Data Science Solutions.

Thong Nguyen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from DeVry University, obtained in 2013. Thong has since obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including Planning and Releasing Software with Jira (2022), Learning Jira (Cloud Edition) (2021), Stay Lean with Kanban (2021), Agile Foundations (2020), Agile Project Management: Comparing Agile Tools (2020), Agile at Work: Building Your Agile Team (2020), Agile at Work: Driving Productive Agile Meetings (2020), Agile at Work: Getting Better with Agile Retrospectives (2020), Agile at Work: Planning with Agile User Stories (2020), Agile at Work: Reporting with Agile Charts and Boards (2020), Scrum: The Basics (2020), and Transitioning from Waterfall to Agile Project Management (2020). Thong also holds a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance (2021). Thong Nguyen is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Illinois at Chicago - Graduate College, which they expect to complete in 2023.
