Animaga is a non-profit organisation responsible for delivering the annual Animaga Convention—a celebration of anime, manga, gaming, and Japanese pop culture.

Founded in Melbourne, Animaga has grown into a flagship event on Australia’s pop culture calendar, uniting fans, creators, and industry partners through cosplay competitions, gaming experiences, guest panels, live performances, and unique cultural experiences.

Each year, Animaga Expo offers a vibrant program of experiences from gaming tournaments and special guests to a vibrant exhibitor floor and themed spaces like the maid café—all designed to foster creativity, community and cultural appreciation.
