Vineet Gandhi

Vineet Gandhi has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Vineet began their career as an intern at Emantras in 2008. Vineet then worked as a Solutions Architect for the Government of Madhya Pradesh from December 2007 to May 2008. From June to August 2010, Vineet served as a Research Intern at Xerox Research centre Europe. In October 2011, they joined INRIA, Imagine team, as a Doctoral Researcher, and worked there until January 2015. Vineet also worked as a Research Intern at INRIA, Perception team, from January to July 2011. In 2015, Vineet transitioned to IIIT Hyderabad where they initially worked as a Senior Research Scientist until April 2017. From April 2017, they assumed the role of Assistant Professor at the same organization. Recently, in January 2019, Vineet joined Animaker Inc. as the Chief Scientific Advisor.

Vineet Gandhi began their education at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur, where they received a BTech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from 2005 to 2009. Following this, in 2009, they pursued a Master's degree in Color in Media and Informatics (CIMET) at Universidad de Granada. In 2010, they furthered their studies in the same field at the Université Jean Monnet Saint-Etienne and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Finally, from 2011 to 2014, Vineet Gandhi completed their education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from the University of Grenoble.
