Steve Ryan

Steve Ryan has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the entertainment and themed entertainment industry. Steve currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development at Animax Designs, Inc. since April 2023. Prior to that, they were the Executive Producer/CEO at Shoconcepts from 2001 to April 2023. Steve has also worked as a LBE Consultant at The Third Floor, Inc. from July 2018 to July 2019 and as a Director at RGH Themed Entertainment from June 2013 to March 2014. Steve Ryan has held positions such as Executive Producer, Universal Studios Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa from 2007 to 2010, Sr. Proj Mgr at Paramount Pictures from 2006 to 2007, and Producer at Super 78 from 2005 to 2006. Steve started their career as a Scenic Fabrication Manager at Landmark Enterteinemnt Group from 1990 to 1992 and has also worked as a BRC Show Producer at BRC Imagination Arts from June 1996 to March 2001 and as an Exhibit Director at the Museum of Broadcast Communications from 1992 to 1996.

Steve Ryan completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Theatre Design & Production Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. Steve also obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Theatre/Theater from the same university, although the specific start and end years for this degree were not mentioned.
