Ross Smith

Seattle Community Leader

Ross Smith, FRSA, currently serves as an author for "The AI Revolution in Customer Service and Support" and holds the position of WW Support Leader for Modern Workplace Supportability at Microsoft since August 2019. As a co-founder of Future World Alliance and the Seattle Women in Tech Consortium, Ross is dedicated to addressing responsible AI, education, and community support for women in technology. With a long-standing career in technology, Ross has held various leadership roles at Microsoft, including Director of Skype for Good and Director of Engineering, while also engaging as a Fellow at the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (The RSA) and contributing to the American Association of Editorial Cartoonists. Ross is pursuing a PhD in Inclusive Design and Creative Technology Innovation at University College Dublin, building on an earlier BS in Decision/Computer Sciences from Rider University.
