Obed Obed

Obed Obed is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in various ambassadorial roles at Pontem Network, OasisLab, and Ankr, all starting in June 2022. As a Fellow at the Young African Leaders Initiative Regional Leadership Center in West Africa since 2018, Obed has also led as President of the Ibom Bloggers Forum since October 2017 and worked as a Freelance Blogger with TYB Reporters since September 2014. Formerly, Obed served as Chief Executive Officer at STARTUP NAIJA TV from July 2020 to November 2022, and held the positions of Country Business Development Manager and Regional Director with The Slessors Initiative until November 2022. Additional experience includes serving as Personal Assistant on Media to the Special Adviser at the Bureau of Rural Development and Cooperatives in Akwa Ibom State and working as a Business Development Consultant with the African Human Development Centre. Obed holds a B.Sc in Biochemistry from the University of Uyo, completed in 2011.
