Jess Chen

Jess Chen is a seasoned professional in the field of construction law and project management, currently serving as Managing Director at Ankura since September 2018, after progressing through various titles including Senior Director and Director. Previous experience includes a role as Managing Consultant at Navigant and Senior Consultant at HKA, where expertise in forensic planning, delay analysis, and claim consulting was developed. Jess Chen's background also encompasses substantial project control and engineering roles at Thiess and John Holland, contributing to significant infrastructure projects with values ranging from $80 million to $650 million. Academic qualifications include a Master of Laws in Construction Law and Arbitration from Robert Gordon University, alongside dual Bachelor's degrees in Civil Engineering and Finance/Investment from the University of Melbourne, as well as completion of an intensive Korean language course at Ewha Womans University.
