Derrick Jackson

Derrick Jackson is a transformational leader with a Master of Social Work (MSW) and extensive experience in both law enforcement and community engagement. They served as the Director of Community Engagement at the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office, where they focused on integrating social work principles into policing to foster stronger community relations over the past 15 years. Previously, Derrick worked as a Chief Deputy Clerk and held positions in various organizations, including as a Community Outreach Coordinator and an Adjunct Lecturer. Currently, they are active on multiple boards, contributing to initiatives aimed at community improvement and racial equity.
