Murphy Hammer

Murphy Hammer is an experienced leader in camp and outdoor education, currently serving as the Executive Director of Camp AGQ at Ann Arbor YMCA since April 2022. Prior experience includes managerial roles at the Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan, where responsibilities encompassed camp administration and outdoor education specialization from August 2018 to April 2022. Previous positions include lead facilitator at the University of Michigan, senior care coordinator at Kennedy Care, and case manager at The Connection Youth Services, demonstrating a strong background in program development, client relations, and team management. An alumnus of Eastern Michigan University, Murphy holds a Bachelor of Social Work and has cultivated skills in crisis intervention, community collaboration, and educational facilitation throughout a diverse career.
