Carlos Pena

Carlos Pena has worked as a Frontend Engineer at Annalect since March 2021. In 2020, they had various roles at Open Source, including work on the Your Corner project where they implemented Jest and SuperTest for testing purposes, designed a NoSQL database, and implemented password salting/hashing. Carlos also worked on the WobbeUp project, enhancing code readability and using Node.js/Express and Socket.IO. At SQURL, Carlos was a Software Engineer, leveraging React and Electron.js to create a modular desktop application and constructing data generation algorithms. Before that, they were the founder of Eclectic Spirits LLC, where they handled relational database management and had proficiency in project management and team management. Carlos'srole at Eclectic Spirits LLC ended in September 2020.

Carlos Pena pursued their education from 2010 to 2014 at The Catholic University of America. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Political Science and Government. In 2021, Carlos also obtained additional certifications as a Triplebyte Certified Front End Engineer and a Triplebyte Certified Generalist Software Engineer from Triplebyte.
