Chris Soper

Chris Soper has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Phonathon Caller and Consultant at Utica College, providing level 1 and 2 support and assisting with user support for various software and operating systems. In 2012, Chris worked as a Program Coordinator at the Food Bank of the Southern Tier, where they supervised volunteers and achieved a significant increase in program recipients. Chris then joined Utica College as an Intern, providing training, documentation, and support for level 1 and 2 analysts. In 2013, Chris worked as an IITS Consultant at Elmira College.

Moving into the technology field, Chris worked at Retail Data Systems in 2014 as a CRM Administrator and RPOS Support Technician. Chris developed applications and plugins to enhance server performance and collaborated with support departments to improve workflows. From 2015 to 2017, Chris worked as a Software Engineer at F.M. Howell & Company, contributing to software development projects.

In 2016, Chris started their own company, CRS Software Solutions, where they were the owner and focused on custom software development, PCI compliance, integrations, server administration, and software distribution. In 2017, they joined Corning Incorporated as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in data science and glass research. Chris was involved in designing and implementing scalable modeling and data analytics software, as well as researching and implementing data exploration systems.

Chris Soper attended Southside High School from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a high school degree. Later, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued Mathematics and Computer Science at Utica University. In 2013, Chris briefly attended Elmira College to further their studies in Mathematics.
