Luka Koruna

Luka Koruna has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and analytics. They started their career in 2011 as a Sales Associate at Didier Farms. In 2013, they interned as a Billing Intern at Hawthorn Associates of Lake County LLC. They then worked as a Student Tutor for Statistics and participated in research projects at Lake Forest College from 2010 to 2014.

In 2014, Luka joined Hawthorn Associates of Lake County, LLC as a Data Engineer, where they were responsible for ETL operations and reporting on customer retention and student learning benchmarks. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Business Analyst at SapientRazorfish, reporting on business verticals, leading user testing for an online brand re-platform, and developing process flow diagrams for a multinational consumer goods company.

Luka returned to SapientRazorfish in 2017 and took up the role of Data Science Associate, Instrumented Intelligence. In this position, they created analytics products and conducted analysis on community panel datasets. They also served as a Data Scientist, building and managing end-to-end text classification models and providing insights on customer feedback data.

In 2019, Luka worked as a Data Scientist at Publicis Sapient, where they developed an end-to-end LTV model and targeted demographic segments based on customer lifetime value.

Currently, Luka is working at Annalect as an Associate Director, Data Science. They are responsible for building topic modeling and text classification pipelines, developing click stream funnel analysis, and creating an internal Python library for machine learning tasks.
