Matthew Gerace

Matthew Gerace has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Matthew worked as a Software Engineer at Annalect since June 2023. Prior to that, they were a Co-Project Leader of EcoVillage at Engineers Going Global from September 2019 to May 2023. During the same period, they served as a Student Council Member at the University of Virginia. Matthew also worked as a Software Engineer at Legna Software from June to August 2022 and as a Data Science and Software Developer at UVA Biocomplexity Institute from May 2021 to June 2022. Matthew gained internship experience as a Summer Intern at Brave Virtual Worlds in June to August 2020. Additionally, they were a Venture Capital Fellow at Eolo Fellowship during the same period.

Matthew Gerace has a strong educational background with a focus on computer science and applied statistics. Matthew obtained their High School Diploma from Lancaster Country Day School between 2015 and 2019. Currently, they are enrolled at the University of Virginia from 2019 to 2023, pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science as well as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Applied Statistics with a concentration in Econometrics. In May 2021, Matthew also completed the IRB-HSR Researcher Basic Course provided by CITI Program, a Division of BRANY, earning a certification in research ethics and protocols.
