Ravikumar Shankar has extensive work experience spanning over two decades in the field of data solutions, analytics, and business development. Ravikumar currently serves as the Chief Data Solutions Officer at Annalect, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Data & Technology Lead for Asia Pacific at Annalect from March 2019 to August 2022, and as the Data Architecture Lead for Asia Pacific from October 2017 to February 2019.
Before joining Annalect, Ravikumar held the role of VP - Global Business Development at Miaozhen Systems from February 2013 to September 2017. Ravikumar also served as the Chief of Insights & Analytics at Initiative from July 2011 to June 2012.
Earlier in their career, Ravikumar worked for Omnicom Media Group in China, where they held the position of Executive Director - Insights, Comms Planning & Analytics from June 2009 to July 2011. Ravikumar also worked as the Comms Insights Director at OMD in 2009. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Consumer Strategy Research at WD Television from June 2008 to April 2009.
Ravikumar's career started at Starcom in 2003, where they worked as a Research & Strategic Planning Manager/Director until 2008. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Spike Singapore Pte Ltd from 2002 to 2003, and as an Analyst at Icon media lab from 2000 to 2001.
Ravikumar Shankar completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1990 to 1992, they attended MES College and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, and Statistics. Ravikumar then pursued higher studies at Bangalore University from 1992 to 1994, where they earned a Master's degree in Statistics. In terms of additional certifications, Ravikumar Shankar obtained a Google Analytics Certification from Google in October 2022.
