Rawan Abbas

Rawan Abbas has a diverse work experience in various roles related to data engineering and IT support. Rawan began their career as a Trainee at ICQ Training & Consulting in 2014 before moving on to work as a Trainee at the National Information Center in Sudan and Julphar Gulf Pharmaceuticals Industries. In 2015, they joined RAK Gas as an IT Coordinator and later took on a role in Data Management. From 2017 to 2018, Rawan worked at Premier Marketing Management as an IT support specialist. Rawan then joined Omnicom Media Group (MENA) as a Data Engineer intern in 2021 and went on to become a Data Engineer in 2022. Currently, they are working at Annalect as a Data Engineer starting in 2023.

Rawan Abbas is a professional with a diverse education history. In 2018, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Data Science and Analytics from Brunel University London. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Electronics Engineering (industrial electronics) at the Sudan University of Science and Technology between 2008 and 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Rawan Abbas has also obtained several certifications. In 2023, they were awarded the AMC Foundations certification from Amazon. In 2019, they successfully completed the course "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" and obtained a certificate from Coursera Course Certificates. Furthermore, they have achieved intermediate fluency in German as estimated by the "Duolingo German Fluency" certification from Duolingo, which they obtained in multiple instances between 2015 and 2015.
