Ciara Smith-Roston

Ciara Smith-Roston is the Mayor of Anniston, AL, and a dedicated public governance leader. They hold a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Spelman College and are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Public Administration from Jacksonville State University. Ciara's experience includes serving as Secretary of Student Affairs in the Spelman College Student Government Association, an Admissions Coordinator at the National HealthCare Corporation, and an intern for the U.S. House of Representatives. They have a passion for social justice and demonstrated leadership through various initiatives, including their role as a City Council Member and as a participant in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Fellow program.
