Michel Edkrantz has a wealth of experience in the IT and software engineering fields. In 2009, they worked as a lab assistant for BillerudKorsnäs AB, where they were responsible for analyzing water samples from paper processes. In 2012, they became a mobile application developer for Velos. In 2013, they worked at Aithent Technologies as a mobile application developer, where they created a common code framework for two apps and held XCode and iOS tutorials for the extended team in India. In 2014, they worked as an IT consultant for two months at Bekk, focusing on a mobile app team for a large corporation in Oslo. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a data engineer for Recorded Future, where they worked on system scalability that allowed them to collect and aggregate intelligence summaries on over 1B entities. Since 2019, they have been the Head of Software Architecture at Kognic, providing a unique web-based platform to create high-quality annotated data for supervised machine learning.
Michel Edkrantz received a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Engineering Physics from Chalmers University of Technology between 2009 and 2012. Michel then went on to earn a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Complex Adaptive Systems from the same university between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they attended Nyströmska Skolan, where they completed a Gymnasium in Naturvetenskap from 2006 to 2009.
