Rebecka Simonsson has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Rebecka started their career as a Recruiter at HHGS Handels Rekrytering AB, where they handled the entire recruitment process. Rebecka then joined Stena Line as an HR Service Training & Recruitment Partner, working at the head office and gaining experience in the ferry and shipping industry. Rebecka later worked as a Recruitment Specialist through Randstad Sourceright, managing recruitment processes for Volvo Cars.

Rebecka then transitioned to Dfind Science & Engineering, where they initially served as a Technical Recruitment Consultant, handling sales, recruitment, and follow-ups. Rebecka was later promoted to Consulting Manager - Engineers, managing a team of engineering consultants and handling various responsibilities such as salary reviews, performance reviews, and client satisfaction. Rebecka continued their career at Randstad Engineering Sweden, where they worked as a Consultant Manager for the engineering unit.

In 2020, they joined Kognic, a SaaS scale-up company, as a Human Resources Consultant through Randstad Engineering, providing support in building their HR platform and assisting in recruitment processes. Rebecka was then promoted to People & Culture Manager, responsible for ensuring employee satisfaction and retention by overseeing various aspects, including training and development, succession planning, and workplace culture. Currently, Rebecka holds the position of VP People & Culture at Kognic.

Throughout their career, Rebecka has gained extensive experience in areas such as recruitment, HR management, employee relations, training and development, and leadership.

Rebecka Simonsson completed their Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Lund University and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Development from the University of Gothenburg in 2015. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Kriminologi at Malmö University starting in 2011. Additionally, Rebecka has obtained several certifications in various fields, such as Systematiskt arbetsmiljöarbete from RiktigtGruppen in March 2022, Be your best leader for a better team - Leadership development program from Nspir AB in February 2022, and Bättre arbetsmiljö eBAM from Prevent - Arbetsmiljö i samverkan in August 2021, among others.
