AnonySource is an early-stage startup building a platform to help researchers share sensitive data safely and ethically. Whether it's a study on mental health, public health, or social inequality, researchers need access to data from real people. But sharing this kind of information—especially personal or health-related data—comes with big risks around privacy, misuse, and legal restrictions. Many organizations simply avoid sharing data at all, slowing down important research.

AnonySource is here to change that.

We are developing a platform that lets researchers upload, share, and access data securely, without exposing personal details. Our technology uses artificial intelligence to remove or protect identifying information from datasets. This process is called anonymization, and we’re building a smart system called the Adaptive Ethical Data Engine (AEDE) that does this more effectively than traditional methods.

But we go beyond just privacy.

Many research datasets leave out important voices—like Indigenous communities, LGBTQ+ groups, or people in rural areas. That leads to biased research that doesn't reflect everyone. Our platform will include tools that check for missing groups in data and help researchers fix those gaps, so their studies are more accurate and inclusive.

AnonySource will also include a marketplace where researchers can safely find and share data with each other. This will help people collaborate more easily and avoid duplicating work, making research faster, better, and more cost-effective.

We’re starting with universities and public institutions, but our goal is to serve everyone working to solve social and medical challenges. By making secure, fair, and inclusive data sharing easier, AnonySource aims to unlock better solutions for the problems that matter most.
