Dimitri Gerard

Dimitri GERARD is a seasoned marine operations professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades in the maritime industry. Currently serving as Marine Operations Manager at MySelf+ since January 2008, Dimitri oversees all marine operations on a Floating Production Unit and Tension Leg Platform (TLP), focusing on stability, critical lifting operations, tandem mooring operations, and cargo logistics. Prior roles include Marine Supervisor for Total from 2008 to 2012 and Assistant Marine Supervisor at ExxonMobil between January 2005 and December 2007, where responsibilities included supervising deck crew, bulk transfers, and safety device tests. Dimitri began career as a Ballast Control Room Operator offshore Angola and held positions as Deputy Company Security Officer at LOI and Deck Officer at Exmar. Dimitri holds a Master’s degree in Nautical Sciences from Antwerp Maritime Academy.
