Renee R.

Renee R. has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Renee recently joined Another Step Inc in 2022 as a Community Habilitation Coordinator. Prior to that, they worked at AIM Services Inc from 2021, holding the position of a Community Habilitation Specialist. In this role, they provided support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities to enhance their independent living, social, and skill-building activities. Renee also completed electronic documentation as required.

Before their role at AIM Services Inc, Renee worked at Saint Dominic's Family Services starting from 2019. Here, they served as a Waiver Level II Care Manager, responsible for ensuring compliance and documentation standards were met. Renee collaborated with the clinical treatment team, communicated with clients and families, and coordinated with outpatient providers. Additionally, Renee worked as a Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Worker, assisting clients with serious emotional disturbance and intellectual disabilities in acquiring necessary coping strategies and independent living skills. During this time, they also served as a TCM Care Manager, coordinating community-based services and developing person-centered treatment plans.

Prior to their experience at Saint Dominic's Family Services, Renee held the position of a Mental Health Worker at Four Winds Hospital from 2017 to 2019. Renee also worked as a Case Coordinator at Rehabilitation Support Services in 2017. Earlier in their career, Renee gained experience as a Childcare Provider at Care.com from 2016 to 2017. Renee also served as a Recreation Information Clerk at Clarkstown Parks and Recreation from 2014 to 2016, and as a Sales Associate at Charlotte Russe from 2012 to 2016.

Renee R. attended the State University of New York Cortland from 2014 to 2017, where they pursued a Bachelor of Sociology degree with a field of study in Sociology and Criminology. Additionally, they completed a minor in History during their time at the university.
